How reproducible is NixOS?

How reproducible is NixOS? In this talk at FOSDEM 2025, I present the results of our large-scale study of bitwise reproducibility in the NixOS distribution, covering 709,816 packages rebuilt from historical snapshots of nixpkgs between 2017 and 2023.
